JC Beavis Builders is a small local business owned and operated by the director Justin Beavis and his wife Zel. Justin & Zel live at Nerrena with their three children Archie, Alby & Nya. They both grew up in South Gippsland and love that they are able to raise their family in this beautiful area.

Justin, with over 20 years’ experience building houses in Gippsland prides himself on his quality workmanship and attention to detail. Because of this he chooses to take a ‘hands on’ approach, working on site alongside his highly skilled and experienced team, ensuring his high standards are met. JC Beavis Builders do not contract out any carpentry work on a build, instead we employ three local carpenters and an apprentice, this allows us to closely control and monitor the quality of work. For other specialised jobs like plumbing, electrical & plastering we use local, reputable trades and suppliers. As Justin is regularly on site with the tool belt on if you choose to build with JC Beavis Builders you do not have to make all the decisions up front at the time of signing your contracts, instead colours and minor adjustments can be made as the build progresses.

In 2019 JC Beavis Builders were proud to be awarded the 2019 HIA Eastern Victoria Custom Built home in the $750,000 to $1million category. The house, designed by David Trease Designs is located in Poowong, photographs are available on our website to view. Justin has had a lot of experience building custom architecturally designed homes and thoroughly enjoys the challenge they bring.

Justin is a member of the Housing Industry Australia (HIA), HIA Greensmart accredited, and a Registered Building Practitioner (RBP). Justin realizes that building a new home can be very stressful and it is something most people only do once or twice in their life, he believes communication and forming a good working relationship with the client is essential to ensure a smooth, relatively stress free build, and naturally a finished product that all parties are happy with.
